Due to the unknowns about international travel conditions and as the COVID-19 situation around the world develops, we have decided to cancel C3 Conference this year. We are disappointed we will not be able to spend time with you all but we trust that this decision is best at this time.

We are so thankful for each of you and your interest in being a leader at your school! We will keep you updated on plans for C3 Conferences next school year.

If any of you have already paid, we will be refunding the registration fee in full. Please contact us at c3conferenceasia@gmail.org to arrange this.

Payment in full is due at registration upon arrival at the conference. Payment may be made in US dollars, cash or check.

    1. About C3

      What is C3 Conference?

C3 Conference is a unique opportunity for high school students where they will develop a personal plan for spiritual growth, as well as develop a “student action plan” for their school. This plan serves to unite the interests and vision of each school’s student team, develop the ideas they have interacted with during the conference, and challenge them to impact their school through a specific project, program or event during the months following C3.

What are the goals of C3 Conference?

      • To help its participants (students and chaperones alike) grow in their personal walk with Christ and in their commitment to serving God.
      • To help Christian student leaders identify leadership skills and potentials that God has placed in them for His purposes and for their benefit.
      • To help students recognize God’s call on their lives to lead now while preparing to lead in the future, impacting their world for Christ.
      • To guide students in developing a personal plan for growth.
      • To strengthen the students’ structure of support through building community in the school’s student leadership team and between schools of different countries and languages within a setting of love and Christian grace and fellowship.
      • To strengthen Christian schools through the commitment and service of those students who participate in the C3 event.
      • To strengthen a concept of mentoring and discipleship of students for chaperones.

      Who should attend?

      Students entering grades 9-12 who:

      • desire to grow in their understanding and “living out” of the Great Commission
      • want to be transformed by Christ’s compassion for the world
      • want to discover God’s calling on their lives both now (in school) and in the future (however God will use them)
      • are willing to take action and initiative in their schools to walk alongside others and lead them towards Jesus
    2. Our Speaker

      Joey Swenson

I am an MK who was born in Medellin, Colombia. I lived there until I was 8 years old when we were evacuated. Medellin was considered the most dangerous city in the world at the time because of the violence and war on drugs. Our family then moved to Quito, Ecuador and I lived there until I graduated high school from the Alliance Academy International. I went to Nyack College in New York and then upon graduating I returned to Quito, Ecuador to be a missionary. I had a deep calling to serve and support missionary kids and so served as the youth pastor of English Fellowship Church as well as a campus chaplain and sports coach at the Alliance Academy. I also had the privilege of starting a soccer ministry as a way to share the good news of Jesus to people all throughout the city of Quito. I then moved to Chicago to get my Masters of Divinity from North Park Theological seminary where I continued to be a soccer coach, chaplain, and campus pastor. It was during that time that I met my wife (Karen) who I have been married to for 6 years. We have a son named Jonas who is 2 years old. I currently serve at Woodsedge Community Church, most recently serving as the Young Adults Pastor. I am really looking forward to this opportunity to be with you at C3 Conference!
